Decisions
The one place a person answers an agent, a colleague or the system, and finds what was done for them.
Decisions is where a person answers what is waiting on them: a question
an agent asked with ask_questions, a tool call waiting for approval, a
design review, a connector to set up or reconnect, a colleague's question.
It also holds what happened for them while they were away: a routine's
reports, a mention, an assignment, a share.
The sidebar entry
The sidebar's Décisions entry, above both tabs, shows the number of open decisions for the viewer: pending, not archived, and not put off with « Plus tard ». A dot, never the count, lights while a mention or an assignment is unread. A share and a routine's report light nothing.
A decision addressed to the viewer, a mention and an assignment also arrive as a toast; clicking one opens Decisions on it. Nothing toasts while Decisions is open, and an arrival about a conversation already on screen is read instead.
The modal
The entry opens Decisions as a modal without a frame: a column centred over the app, which recedes behind it (it scales back slightly, blurs and dims). A click beside the column, Escape, or the close button closes it.
A small pill at the top of the column holds the tabs, « Nouvelle décision » and the close button:
| Tab | Lists |
|---|---|
| Décisions | What awaits an answer: questions, approvals, reviews, handoffs |
| Pour toi | What happened for the viewer since the last visit |
| Tranchées | Threads with nothing left open, their latest decision each |
Décisions
Decisions are grouped by thread: every decision of one conversation, or a person's decision and its follow-ups. A thread shows one decision open, its oldest waiting one, and announces the next ones under the card (« + 1 autre question de l'Exécuteur »); answering the first opens the next in place. Threads are ordered by their oldest open decision.
One decision is open at a time; every other thread is folded to one line (who asks, the title, the kind, what to decide, when). Opening a line folds the previous one.
An open decision shows its files previewed above the answer card, the same card the conversation shows: the questions, the approval with what will happen, or the handoff's one button. Everything else sits behind one closed Contexte element at its end: why it is asked, what the answer changes, what it is about, the live conversation (its status and current step), and the thread's decisions already answered.
« Plus tard » puts a decision off until 09:00 the next day; it leaves the list until then.
Pour toi
Pour toi shows what arrived since the viewer last closed Decisions (the
decisions.seenAt preference, written on close), in two groups:
- Fait pour toi: one line per routine, counting its runs since the last visit, with its latest report (« Relances clients · 3 runs · 5 relances envoyées »). « Voir la conversation » opens the latest run.
- À savoir: one line per record, counting its mentions, assignments and shares (« Dupont SA · 2 mentions · 1 assignation »), with Marquer comme lu, Archiver and, when a person sent it, Transformer en décision, which raises a question for the viewer with the record linked and the item's text as its why.
Keyboard
| Key | Does |
|---|---|
J / K | Opens the next or previous decision; an open conversation follows it |
1 to 9 | Picks that option of the open question |
⌘↵ | Takes the open card's way out (send, approve, continue, reconnect) |
Space | Opens the open decision's conversation beside the list |
Esc | Closes the panel beside the list, then Decisions |
None of them acts while you type in an answer.
Opening what a decision links to
What a decision links to opens beside the list, in the app's own panels, docked in a column on the right while the list narrows: a conversation in the AI panel, a record, a file or a mail thread in the record stack. They are the same panels as in the app, with their state: the conversation keeps streaming, its draft and its width; records it links to stack beside it.
A decision's conversation opens on the message that asked, marked
« Question posée dans Décisions », with the question card above the
composer: answering there or in a typed reply counts the same as answering
the decision. Opening another decision (J, K or a click) moves the open
conversation to that decision's, or closes it when it has none.
« Ouvrir dans l'app » closes Decisions and leaves the panels where they are in the app. Escape closes the last opened panel first, then Decisions.
Nouvelle décision
A person raises a decision for colleagues from the pill's « Nouvelle
décision », from a record's menu (the record is linked), or from a note's
@ menu, where « Demander une décision » beside a person inserts the
mention and opens the form for them. The form takes a title, why, what
changes, one question answered by options (up to nine), in free text, or
both, the people asked, files and the records it is about. Answering it
wakes no agent.
The decisions block
A page's decisions block lists the viewer's open decisions, one line per
thread, optionally narrowed to some kinds; a line opens Decisions on it. See
Pages and Pages in code.
In your own app shell, put the attribute data-recede-target on the
element that holds the app: that is what recedes behind Decisions. Without it the modal still works, over a dimmed
app.
Settings
Account ▸ Décisions lists, per type, whether it reaches the viewer in-app. A type that awaits an answer is always shown.
